Route : Guwahati (1 night) - Manas (2 nights) - Guwahati (1 night) - Kaziranga (2 nights) - Guwahati (2 nights)  

Highlight - This is best of wildlife and Birding itinerary for Assam covering Kaziranga (premier wildlife sanctuaries in India known for one-horned rhinos and migratory Birds), Manas (rare species, tigers and migratory birds) and Pabitora Wildlife sanctuary near Guwahati 

Recommended Itinerary (Can be customised as per guest requirements and preferences)

• Day 01 - Pick-up from Guwahati Airport/ Railway station. River cruise on Brahmaputra by motorized country boat and visit to Umananda Temple (smallest river island), visit to Kamakhya Mandir (Shakti Peeth). Overnight stay at Guwahati.

• Day 02 - Sualkuchi - Hajo - Manas - After early breakfast excursion to Sualkuchi famous for Assam Silk and popularly known as the Manchester of East & Hajo (amalgamation of three religion in one place- Hinduism, Islam & Buddhism). Drive to Manas National Park (530 sq.kms) famous for Royal Bengal Tiger. It’s a Project tiger & World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. The other residents of the park are golden langur, pigme hog etc. Overnight stay at Manas. 

• Day 03 - Manas - Full day sightseeing in & around Manas, elephant safari, jeep safari, visit to a Tribal village. Overnight stay at Manas.

• Day 04 - Manas - Madan Kamdev - Guwahati - After breakfast drive to Guwahati. En-route visit Madan Kamdev, visit State Emporium. Overnight at Guwahati. 

• Day 05 - Guwahati-Kaziranga - Drive to Kaziranga. The land of famous one-horned rhinoceros. The other residents of the park include elephants, Indian bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon etc and a host of both resident and migratory birds. Check-in at the hotel, after that visit to craft village, tea garden & handloom center. Overnight stay at Kaziranga. 

• Day 06 - Kaziranga - Early morning Jungle Safari on elephant back in the park for one hour. Afterwards, back to hotel and breakfast. Rest till lunch time after lunch jeep safari inside the park. Overnight stay at Kaziranga. 

• Day 07 - Kaziranga - Guwahati - After breakfast drive back to Guwahati. After lunch visit to Sankardev Kalashetra & evening river cruise. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

• Day 08 - Departure - After breakfast transfer to Guwahati Airport/ Rly station.

Note:

• Guests opting for Brahmaputra Jungle Resort would be able to opt for activities such as Elephant ride, trekking etc. Guests staying here will get a nature centric getaway resort experience as well.
