Nakoor Volkot cottage is a set amidst beautiful coffee, pepper and orange plantation over 12 acres of land, located 10 kms away from Kotebetta (Fort Hill) at Coorg, Karnataka (India). It's a secluded independent homestay with the view of a small pond, scenic greenery and the nearby homes of the local village. 

The Host - Aiyappa Ben and Usha Ganapathy are the hosts staying nearby in their ancestral home providing the guests with any kind of help required. Aiyappa comes from a family of agriculturists in Coorg and is now taking care of his estate property with his family.

The homestay - It has two spacious bedrooms with a drawing room and dining room, all with attached bathrooms. There is also a full-size kitchen attached with the dining area with basic amenities to make their own food or heat and store the food sent from the host's home. The cuisine served is European and South Indian. To make the stay interesting the hosts can also arrange for dinner along with bonfires for those who enjoy non-vegetarian meals. Harangi Dam which is just five minutes walk away from the homestay makes it an interesting location to stay.

Around - To make sure that the guests enjoy their activities in the area around, the hosts provide them with many options through readymade itineraries for 1-2 days. There is even a monsoon itinerary to excite the adventurous souls who would like to experience heavy rains and strong winds while exploring the misty mountains. The particular itinerary talks about a trek to Nishanibetta which involves a ten kilometers ridge walk connecting the mountains to the highest peak.
