is a Short break / Wildlife itinerary that covers only hill station in Madhya
Pradesh (Pachmarhi) and one of the best parks in the country
for tiger sightings i.e. Kanha. Suggested
Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary,
Sequence of the activities may vary and depend on prevailing weather condition
and guest preferences) Day
1 : Arrive at Pipariya and Proceed to Pachmarhi (46 kms - 1 hour - Jeeps readily
available at the station for transfers). Day at leisure. Visit lake in the
evening. Pachmarhi
lies on a Plateau at about 3000 ft asl and is surrounded by Satpura national
park and hills that sport several waterfalls and interesting trekking
points. There is also the Charaugarh temple and a Shiva temple that are very
significant locally.
Day
2: Explore area around Pachmarhi Day 3: Take morning train to Jabalpur and
reach by afternoon. Transfer to Kanha (165 kms - 4 hours)
Day 4: Morning
and Evening Jeep Safari.
Day 5 - Morning
and Evening Jeep Safari.
Day 6: Leave for Jabalpur. Visit Marble Rocks and then take overnight train
back. Extensions:

In case there is
no time to visit Marble Rocks then an additional night at Jabalpur can be
considered

Bandhavgarh is 265
kms from Kanha (6 hours) and can be visited for a 2 nights stay. -
If
idea is to catch train / flight back from Nagpur then 1 night stay at Pench,
another national park known for tiger sightings, can be considered -
If
Idea is to relax a bit as well then additional one or two nights can be
