Khajuraho is
a world renowned heritage destination known for its set of erotic
temples. It is visited as a part of a heritage circuit alongwith
Orchha, Gwalior and Agra and possibly Varanasi (Flight).
There are
three clusters of temples i.e. Western, Eastern and Southern. All are
located within a short distance of each other and have religious
significance for Hindus and Jains.

Western Group, in town centre has 14 temples. .

Eastern Group, 3 kms from the Tourist Office, consists of seven
temples (four Jain and three Hindu).

Southern Group, about 5 km from town centre, has 2 temples.
