Maldives

The weather in Maldives is influenced by two monsoons; the northeast monsoon and the southwest monsoon from November to April brings fine weather coincides with the high tourist season. The southwest monsoon from May to October is often wet and rainy. However, this period provides the best surf.

Access: Male Airport is the only Airport in Maldives. Srilankan Airways has regular flights to Maldives via Colombo. Other airlines (such as Jazeera Airways) operating to Maldives are via Gulf and therefore better for access from Europe.  

Visa: No prior visa is required to enter the Republic of Maldives. Entry permit will be granted to visitors on arrival at designated ports of entry, based on the immigration requirements. There is Free 30 days Visa upon arrival for all visitors.
