is 180 kms from Mumbai and 220 kms from Pune.
Trymbakeshwar (A Jyotilinga
Temple) is located 40 kms from Nashik and Shirdi
Saibaba temple is located at 90 kms from here. Nashik
located on the Godavari River, itself has a lot of
religious significance in Ramayana and therefore a
renowned religious destination.
Off the Nashik -
Trymbakeshwar road is Fort Anjaneri, believed to be the
Birthplace of Lord Hanuman.
Nashik
is now a base town for a lot of industrial areas and
Vineyards around it. It is also home to a lot of ITES
industries and therefore a boom town with ongoing
constructions all around it.
Nashik is also a base point
from where you visit Bhandardara Dam and Vineyards around
the area.

travelling on NH-3 further to Indore / Auranganbad /
Nagpur etc.
