: This itinerary combines popular hill stations of Maharashtra i.e.
Matheran, Mahabaleshwar and Lonavala. All three are different in its own
ways.

Matheran takes
one back in time with a hand-cart or a horse back ride in the thick
woods around.

Lonavala has
now been transformed into a commercial stopover enroute Mumbai-Pune and
has a variety of options for activities and entertainment.

Mahabaleshwar /
Panchgani are twin hill stations and now known for its Strawberries. The
destination still carries a bit of the old world charm and feel and has
a variety of activity options (such as Paragliding, Go-carting, Horse
riding, Boating etc.) to attract all segments of guests.

Day
1 : Mumbai/Pune to Matheran. Visit Sunset Point in the evening.

Day 2: Relax
in the morning and visit Charlotte Lake and various view points alongwith temples
in Matheran

Day 3: Proceed to Panchgani (220 kms) Via
Lonavala. Guests have option to visit the Karla Caves

Day 4:
Half day sightseeing. Visit Lake (Boating), Mafco Strawberry Factory, Tabletop
Point and Mahabaleshwara Temple.

Day 5: Leave Panchgani / Mahabaleshwar

Seasonality - This circuit could be
done all round the year. Winter (Oct-March) is when guests can experience
cool weather. April, May remains pleasant. June-Sept is monsoon when
it really rains a lot here and only recommended for those who want to
enjoy rains.
Access : Mumbai is well connected with
rest of India by Rail and Air and is one of the two major arrival points (alongwith
Delhi) for those coming into India. Pune is connected with major cities in
India by Air and is a major railhead with extensive connectivity with most
parts of India. Guests may also be driving in from nearby cities of Nashik,
Surat, Valsad etc.
