Maha / 11 - Coastal Maharashtra - Konkan Region - Pilgrimage Itinerary. - Following are a set of Significant Temples on the Coastal Maharashtra (Konkan Region) that are well visited locally. Temples and places of religious significance have been segmented based on general geography and an 4 to 7 night Itinerary can be constructed based on how hectic / relaxed one wants the itinerary to be and overall objective of the trip (Pure Pilgrimage trip or mix of leisure and Pilgrimage).

Access : Mumbai is well connected with rest of India by Rail and Air and is one of the two major arrival points (alongwith Delhi) for those coming into India. Pune is well connected with most major cities in India by Rail and Air.

Seasonality - This circuit could be done all round the year. Temples get local visitors coming on Sundays and devotee numbers multiple during holiday season (Deewali, Christmas, Long weekends and Summer Vacation) and therefore its important to provide more time for Darshan during these. During rest of the periods temples are easy to access and devotees can spend more time praying / meditating.
