OF AFRICA SAFARI
Day 1. WELCOME
TO KENYA
Arrive
into Kenya today and on arrival you are met and transferred to the Jacaranda
Hotel which is located in the Nairobi shopping suburb of Westlands. On
arrival time at leisure to relax and enjoy a peaceful day at the hotel.
Lunch is on your own. This evening you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the
Carnivore Restaurant or an Indian Restaurant as preferred.
Day 2. MT KENYA AND THE RAIN FORESTS
This
morning a leisurely breakfast followed by departure from Nairobi for the
beautiful Northern area which is lush and green. We will pass through the
Coffee and Pineapple plantations of Thika as we climb up into the Green
highlands where we will arrive at Serena Mountain Lodge. On arrival a prompt
check in followed by time to relax and enjoy lunch followed by a whole
afternoon, evening and overnight game viewing opportunity as Elephants,
Waterbuck, Hyena and other game comes to drink at the resident floodlit
waterhole. Enjoy. (BLD)
Day 3. THE GREAT RIFT VALLEY
A
relaxed rise, followed by a hearty breakfast and then we drive through the
Great Rift Valley to the
beautiful Lake Naivasha area which is a pleasant 2.5 hrs drive through some
of the worlds best scenery. On arrival, rest of the day is at leisure with
lunch, dinner and overnight. The Lake is part of the Great Rift Valley which
was formed millions of years ago and is home to a variety of beautiful Bird
life and the ideal place to relax after your overnight flight. (LD)
Day 4. MASAI
MARA
We
depart from Lake Naivasha in the morning for the worlds greatest game
spectacle the Majestic Masai Mara. Here we arrive at the beautiful David
Livingstone Safari Resort in
time for a delicious luncheon followed by an afternoon to relax and enjoy a
short siesta before our evening game drive. At 4.00 pm we depart for a game
drive to see what Masai Mara has to offer. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and time by the
Fireplace followed by overnight

Day
5. THE BEAUTY OF THE MASAI MARA
You
are awakened early by the song of the African riverine birdlife. you enjoy
your first pre-breakfast game drive where you will see the Hippo returning
to the river after a night of nocturnal feeding, Masai Giraffe, Elephant,
Lion, Burchells Zebra, Wildebeeste, Impala, Kongoni and the game of the
Mara. Do not forget your binoculars as you will see a variety of spectacular
birds too.Return to the lodge for breakfast followed by time to relax and
enjoy the spectacular vistas from its hill top vantage point or enjoy a
refreshing swim in the pool. After
lunch enjoy another game drive followed by dinner and overnight (BLD)
Day
6. MASAI MARA
Our
final pre breakfast game drive followed by departure for Nairobi, where we
enjoy an Indian Lunch at a City Restaurant. There is time for shopping after
lunch followed by transfer to the airport for your onward flight home or to
your hotel for check in. (BL)
