Karmi
Farm is a homestay located in Darjeeling (West
Bengal - INDIA).
The farmhouse
has traditional wood flooring decorated with locally made
hand woven rugs. There are 5 double bedrooms - 3 en-suite,
and 2 single rooms.
Hot water
is available 24 hours and the farm boasts it's own generator.
Boiled and filtered drinking water is available.
It has
fabulous terraces over-looking the valley across to West Sikkim
and cosy log fires for cooler evenings combined with fresh
organic cooking in traditional Nepalese, Sikkimese or Indian
style

of the local cuisine and lifestyle while enjoying natural
backdrop and surroundings.
Darjeeling
is 50 kms from here and takes 3 hours of rugged route to
reach. Therefore it is advisable that one spends at least two
nights here to enjoy the beauty of the and appreciate to the
fullest. Also it is advisable that rather than do a straight
NJP - Karmi trip, one does a Karmi as a Darjeeling extension
or one via Kurseong to avoid hectic travel and get
tired.
Darjeeling
is best accessed via Kolkata (Howrah)-New Jalpaiguri (90 kms)
by Train or Bagdogra (90 kms). It is also accessed alongwith
Kalimpong (58 kms) in a East
India Itinerary covering Sikkim via Gangtok which is 110
kms from Darjeeling.
