Kalathil Health Resorts is located at Chammanakary near Vaikom at 20 kms from Ernakulam (Kerala, India) and 50 kms from Cochin International Airport.

It is a small resort having 5 cottages set on a Lake front and having a rural country backdrop.

The resort is spread in seven acres of lawns having meandering canals and paved walkways.

Festival - Vaikom Town’s Mahadeva Temple and its annual Astami festival which falls during Malayalam Calendar month of Vrischikam (November-December) are famous. 

Kumarakom which is about 30 kms from here is not a very sightseeing intensive destination but there are a lot of attractions besides the magic of Lake Vembanad and Backwaters around it, prime attraction being the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is about 25 km South from here. Fort Cochin is also not too far and where guests can visit the Synagogue and the Church. 

Vaikom is generally visited as a part of a South India Itinerary covering parts of Kerala.
