Though the valley is not very wide, the lush green cedar forests and orchards make it scenic and pleasant, enhanced by the Giri river flowing between the valley. The area has lots to offer in terms of local cultural activities and 'Pahari' ( Hill ) dance and music, a visit to local temple and local festivals . Surrounding of Jandev castle offers a peaceful summer royal home stay.
