Gulmarg is the premier Ski resort in India. In Jan-March the area is full of skiers all over the world, enjoying skiing at a fraction of the rate offered in Alpine countries.

Kashmir area as we know enjoys exceptional beauty and Gulmarg enjoys one of the best snow peak views that can be found anywhere in the world. 

Curry powder type snow and adequate skiing infrastructure makes it the ski destination it is. 

For beginners, a week is at least it would take to graduate from flats to baby slopes to the highest slopes. Good Ski equipment hire and Ski instructors are readily available locally. 

There are a host of snow sports at Gulmarg at this time of the year. Tobogganing, the most popular among them. There are also snow scooters and snow bobbing as well.

Guests here stay anywhere for a few days (to enjoy fun skiing) to a week (for a beginner) to a couple of weeks (a ski holiday).

Access - Srinagar Gets direct flights from Mumbai, Jammu and New Delhi. From here Gulmarg is 50 kms away.
