- This is an March-November months itinerary (Most hotels in Pahalgam are
closed in Jan-Feb).

(This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the activities can be

Day 1 and Day 2- Arrive in
Srinagar by Flight (From Delhi or Mumbai). Proceed to Gulmarg (48 kms- 2
hours). Spend Two days marveling at the snow peaks around Gulmarg.
(Gondola i.e. Cable Car ride to the higher slopes and better views
is a must). Skiing possible from
Mid-Dec to Mid-March (Subject to snowfall and weather). There is a Golf course that opens up in Summer.

Day
3 and Day 4 - From Gulmarg Proceed to Pahalgam (148 kms- 5 hours). Enjoy
the riverside location of Pahalgam and flowers and meadows during spring
and summer. Pahalgam has a 9 hole golf course that opens up in Summer.
White water rafting and trout fishing is possible in Summer. Instead of
sightseeing day treks can also be considered. Visit to Chandanwari (16
kms) can also be considered where you can find snow even in summer.

Day 5 and Day 6
and Day 7 - Return to Srinagar and relax 3 days in a Houseboat or a
resort on Dal Lake. While at Srinagar enjoy a shikara ride, visit local
markets for shopping and visit Mughal Gardens. Visit Sonamarg as a Full
day visit from Srinagar.

- Take a Return Flight.

* For lack of adequate accommodation in Sonmarg, its considered
for day visit from Srinagar.
Transport
- Full time car on disposal recommended for an itinerary such as this to
visit monuments / temples as listed within the time stipulated. As per local
regulations, local sightseeing in Gulmarg and Pahalgam will still have to be
done via locally registered vehicles (available readily).
