Jammu
: Jammu is a regional
centre for trade, state capital and home to The Raghunath temple. Its
visited as a point of access for visiting Vaishnodevi Temple which is a 13
km walk from Katra which is about 50 kms from Jammu.
Jammu is visited
alongwith Patnitop and Himachal Pradesh Hill stations (Dalhousie and
Dharamsala), Kaangra Temples (Jwalamukhi, Chintpurni, Chamundadevi and
Bhagshunag), Harminder Sahib in Amritsar (Golden Temple) and Tea Plantations
of Palampur.
Seasonality
- Visited all round the year. Temperatures in Summers can be hot in June and
July.
