ft asl) - Within Manali area Simsa is a small hamlet 10 kms short of
Manali. Excellent walks all around the area and place is cut off and feels

is another area 15 kms beyond Manali. While manali has a commercial feel,
solang is where all the activities are conducted and has an experiential

Palampur
/ Dharamsala (3000 - 3500 ft asl) - Tea
Plantation country. There are number of heritage stays here none better

Dalhousie
/ Khajjiar (6500 ft asl) - This was a
getaway destination for the pre-independence Lahore and now an idyllic
hill station (6500 ft asl) and sports very good Hilamayan views around. A Grand
View heritage wing stay will take you back in
time and give a feel of the Raj era heritage stays. Khajjiar in turn is
even more laidback and here one can enjoy wooded walks and himalayan

Ropar Wetlands
- 60 kms before Chandigarh is Ropar, home to Ropar wetlands. , these
