Highlight
: This is all-season itinerary
for guests to visit Amritsar (Pilgrimage destination for Sikhs and a destination
of tourist Interest for The Golden temple, Jalianwala Bagh and Wagah Border), Hill stations of
Dharamsala & Dalhousie and Vaishnodevi
temple (Pilgrimage). During winter months (Jan - March), guests can experience
snow at areas around Dalhousie.
Access
- Amritsar gets daily flights and trains from New Delhi and all over
India. Amritsar also is a International airport and gets flights from select
international destinations. Jammu has direct flights to Delhi and Mumbai and
direct train departing for destinations all over India. Alternatively the
circuit can be accessed via Chandigarh as well.

Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the
activities can be customised as per season and guest preferences)
Day 1
- Arrive in Amritsar. Visit Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, visit evening
parade at Wagha Border (36 kms).
Day 2 - Depart for Dharamsala and arrive by afternoon. Visit Bhagshu Nag,
Monastery and Norbulingka Institute.
Day 3 - Here guests have
option to either relax or do day treks, walks and visits to other sightseeing
options in the area.
Day 4 - Depart for Dalhousie, reach by
afternoon. visit few local sightseeing spots (Churches, Barkota Hills, Kalatop
view points etc.) and shops in the evening.
Day 5 - Here guests have option to
either relax or visit other sightseeing options / view points in the area.
Day 6 - Proceed early for Katra.
Start Vaishnodevi Climb by afternoon or take a Helicopter ride and do darshan
and return by night.
Day 7 - Return to Jammu, visit local temples (Raghunath Mandir etc.)

* Above itinerary is assuming guest
would be leaving Dalhousie early enough to reach Katra in time for the climb or
helicopter ride the same day. Additional 1 night stay Katra can be considered if
this is not the case or guest wants to give more time for the Darshan or prefer
a relaxed itinerary. Recommended
