Manali is also the base point for a adventure activities in the Lahaul Spiti region and legendary Manali-Leh Route which opens in June.

Expert Speak - Increasingly guests find Manali to be the highlight of a summer trip and find Shimla, Dharamsala etc.too touristy and too much of trouble travelling in and out of Manali accessing them. So this is idea getaway for those who want to relax and explore various elements of Manali (Sightseeing, Adventure, Walks etc.

Access - Chandigarh is the best access point for this itinerary. Chandigarh (Gets daily flights from New Delhi and Mumbai). Ambala is a major railhead 30 kms South of Chandigarh. Delhi is an International Airport and gets flights and trains from all over india. However ease of access makes Chandigarh more suitable than Delhi. Bhuntar near Kullu (50 kms from Manali) gets Direct Flights from Delhi and therefore if the guests don't wish to undertake long road travel from Delhi or Chandigarh can opt for it.

* For those who'd not want to stay in a city in transit may opt for Nalagarh / Siswan Jungle Lodge / Timber Trail Parwanoo instead of Chandigarh. Some of the other transit accommodations are listed here.
