HP Temples
and Gurudwaras - Jammu - Vaishnodevi - Golden Temple-Delhi (8
nights) |

This is a religious Itinerary to all important temples
and some Gurudwaras in North India. |
|
Day 1
- Arrive in Delhi. Proceed to Nahan / Renukaji (290
kms). Overnight at Nahan (4500 ft). Renukaji is a Devi Temple. Day 2-
From Renukaji / Nahan Proceed to Paonta Sahib ( 60 kms), a Gurudwara and a sacred
Sikh Pilgrimage Centre. From Paonta Sahib Proceed to Anandpur Sahib (a sacred
Sikh Pilgrimage Centre) via Chandigarh and Ropar. Overnight at Ropar Day
3 - Visit Naina Devi Temple (40 kms) from where proceed to Palampur (Via Una-Pragpur-Kangra)
enroute visiting Chitpurni and Jwalamukhi Temples. Overnight at Palampur.
Day 4 - Visit Baijnath (6 kms) and Chamundadevi Temple (30 kms), Bhagshunag
Temple (65 kms) and proceed to Jammu (200 kms). Overnight at Jammu. Day
5 - Visit Temples of Jammu (Raghunath Mandir, Bawey Wali Mata Temple, Peer
Kho Cave Teple and Ranbireshwar Temple) and reach Katra (50 kms from Jammu) by
evening. Overnight at Katra. Day 6 - Take Helicopter Service in the
morning for Vaishodevi darshan and return by afternoon. Reach Jammu by evening.
Overnight at Jammu / Katra. Day 7: Proceed from Jammu to Amritsar (200
kms, add another 50 kms if starting from Katra). Visit Golden Temple Day
8 : Proceed to Panchkula (About 250 kms located Near Chandigarh) and visit
Mansadevi Temple. Overnight at Panchkula. Day 9 : Proceed
to Delhi - 260 kms

- New Delhi is the International Airport and Capital of India which
gets trains and flights from All over India. Chandigarh is 260 kms north of Delhi
and has an Airport also can be considered as the access point. Ambala (30 kms
South of Chandigarh) is a major Railhead in this region. |
