Detailed Itinerary

Day-1 Arrive at Kathmandu Arrive at Kathmandu. Evening is free to explore Kathmandu

Day-2 Kathmandu Sightseeing and Drive to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur Temple Proceed for the full-day sightseeing to Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, After refreshment continue sightseeing to Swoyambhunath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Drive to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur Temple and overnight at Nagarkot

Day-3 Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana Drive for Pokhara (200 kms / 6 hours) observing the scenic views on the national highway along the Trishuli River. En-route visit Manakamana temple by cable car. Upon arrival at Pokhara, evening walk around the tourist area of Lake Side and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges with Mt Fishtail.

Day-4 Fly to Jomsom and Drive to Muktinath Transfer to Pokhara airport for flight to Jomsom. Arrive Jomsom after about 30 minutes unique flight & walk to Jeep station for further jeep journey to Muktinath. Arrive Muktinath and walk toward temple. Take holy bath on 108 holy water spouts, holy kunds, and pray to Lord Narayan. Return to jeep stand for further drive to Jomsom. Overnight at Jomsom

Day-5 Jomsom - Pokhara Flight and Pokhara Sightseeing Wake up early morning and walk to airport for flight to Pokhara. After arrival, post lunch, leave for sightseeing of Pokhara valley later covering Davi's Fall, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Seti gorge & Fewa Lake with 1 hour boat ride on Lake Fewa. Further explore Pokhara in the evening or just enjoy the lakeside character.

Day-6 Flight back to Kathmandu Take a flight back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day is free to explore Kathmandu

Day-7 Visit Temples around Patan Durbar Square. Explore Kathmandu for rest of the day Visit Temples in and around Patan Durbar Square. Ret of the day free to explore Kathmandu.

Jomsom :

  • Muktinath Temple - Muktinath is an ancient Lord Vishnu Temple sacred place both for Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath Valley at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass. The central shrine of Sri Muktinath, predominant among all 108 Hindu SriVaishnava Divyadesam is considered one of the eight most sacred shrines for Hindu Vaishnavas known as Svayam Vyakta Ksetras. The Devi temple, part of Muktinath Temple is also one of the Shakti Peetha temples.

Kathmandu :

  • Pashupatimath Temple - Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Shiva in the world. The temple is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The temple is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams (Holy Abodes of Shiva).

  • Swayambhunath - Swayambhunath, is among the oldest religious sites in Nepal. The place is revered by both Buddhists and Hindus. The stupa here was renovated in 2010 and now a major tourist attraction.

  • Patan Darbar Square - Patan Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of its attraction is The Ancient Royal Palace.

  • Boudhanath Stupa - The Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu is one of the largest in the world and the most significant Buddhist heritage monument in Kathmandu. There are about 50 Tibetan Gompas (Monasteries) around Boudhanath. Boudhanath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Bhaktapur Durbar Square - Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu and a UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a popular tourist attraction. The Golden gate is an example of the metal work of Medieval Nepal. Bhaktapur, in fact is the best site of the valley to visit. 55 Window Palace is a major attraction here.

  • Manakamana Temple - Manakamana is a Devi temple and a renowned Hindu Pilgrimage centre and a mid-way point enroute from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Cable car is installed now for the Darshan.

  • Davis Falls - Davis Fall (or Devi's Fall) is a waterfall at the end of Fehwa lake in Pokhara. Interesting aspect of the waterfall is that it comes out of a tunnel.

  • Seti George - Seti George is a narrow river that before entering Pokhara disappears as it does into a tunnel. This is the interesting feature that attracts visitors.

  • Manakamana Temple - Manakamana is a Devi temple and a renowned Hindu Pilgrimage centre and a mid-way point enroute from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Cable car is installed now for the Darshan.
