Day-1 Arrival at Bhavnagar. Travel to Talaja and Back. Arrival at Bhavnagar. Afternoon visit to Jain temple in Talaja (53 kms - 1 hour).
Day-2 Climb up Shatrunjaya Hill (3000 steps) for Palitana Pilgrimage Travel to Palitana (60 kms). Palitana is a Jain Temple complex of 800+ Temples and second most pilgrimage for Jains (After Shikharji in Jharkhand). Ascend the Shatrunjaya Hill (3000 steps - Takes about 3 hours to climb). After darshan return to Bhavnagar.
Day-3 Proceed to Junagadh Leave early morning for Junagadh for Girnar. Climb first hill of Mt. Girnar to visit the Jain temples. It has been an important religious place for Jains since the 3rd century. The Neminath Temple, built from 1128 AD to 1159 AD, is one of the main attractions. Return to Junagadh by evening.
Day-4 Departure Travel to Rajkot (100 kms - 2 hours) and proceed for the onward journey.
Bhavnagar - Bhavnagar is a prominent town in Saurashtra and access point for the nearby Alang Shipyard (55 kms) and Palitana Jain temples (60 kms).
Junagadh - Junagadh is a tier II town in Saurashtra region of Gujarat and visited for temples on the mount Girnar neraby. Girnar is a major Jain Pilgrimage Centre.
