Day-1 Arrive at Visakhapatnam. Visit Pavurallakonda Buddhist Complex. Arrive at Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam is surrounded by ancient Buddhist sites, most of which have been excavated recently and illustrate the legacy of Buddhism in the area. In the afternoon visit Pavurallakonda (25 kms), consisting a ruined hill top Buddhist Monastic Complex (3rd Century BCE to 2nd century CE). It is one of the Largest Buddhist Monasteries of North Coastal Andhra Region.
Day-2 Visit Sankaram, Bavikonda and Thotlakonda Morning visit to Sankaram (2,000-year-old Buddhist site) at 40 km South of Visakhapatnam. Afternoon visit to Bavikonda, an important Buddhist heritage site located on a hill about 15 km, Northeast from Visakhapatnam city. In the evening visit to Thotlakonda at about 16 kms from Visakhapatnam, a Buddhist complex situated on top of a hill.
Day-3 Departure Depart for onward Journey.
Visakhapatnam - Visakhapatnam lies on the eastern cost and is the second largest city of Andhra Pradesh. It is known for its unspoilt beaches, nearby scenic Araku Valley and Borra caves, the 11th-century Simhachalam temple and ancient Buddhist sites like Thotlakonda and Bavikonda spread across the area.
