Day-1 Arrive at Visakhapatnam. Visit Submarine Museum and Kailasagiri. Arrive at Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam is large port city on the east coast of Andhra Pradesh, renowned for its proximity to Simhachalam and offering view of Bay of Bengal. In the afternoon visit India's only submarine museum and then in the evening visit Kailasagiri, a hilltop park adjacent to the sea which offers views of the Bay of Bengal. Kailasagiri is accessible via an aerial tramway from the bottom of the hill. The area is dotted with parks and statues and is an evening gathering point.
Day-2 Visit Simhachalam Temple in the morning and Rishikonda Beach in the evening Visit Simhachalam temple (16 kms), a renowned Pilgrimage of Lord Narsimha (incranation of Lord Vishnu) and one of the 18 Lord Narsimha pilgrimages (Popularly known as Narsimha Kshetrams). Family travellers can head for Vishakapatnam Zoo (spread over 700 acres) instead of visiting the Temple. In the evening visit Rishikonda Beach (A popular beach front at 12 kms from the city).
Day-3 Departure Depart for onward journey.
Visakhapatnam - Visakhapatnam lies on the eastern cost and is the second largest city of Andhra Pradesh. It is known for its unspoilt beaches, nearby scenic Araku Valley and Borra caves, the 11th-century Simhachalam temple and ancient Buddhist sites like Thotlakonda and Bavikonda spread across the area.
