Nainital - Introduction and Geography - Nainital is a hill station in Uttarakhand (Approx. 7000 feet asl) and now a popular weekend retreat and a corporate getaway ex-Delhi. Nainital enjoys a pleasant to cold climate even in peak summers, offers a unique lakeside ambience and does not get a very heavy monsoon and therefore suitable for travelling all round the year.  Even then Nainital gets a little touristy and crowded especially in weekends when traffic restrictions etc. comes into force to manage the inflow and outflow of vehicles. It gets really cold in Jan-Feb when it snows in Nainital and guests from neighboring areas come over to experience snowfall.

Nainital - Accommodation, areas and its Character - Nainital has resorts uphill around the lake suitable for corporate getaways such as Vikram Vintage Inn, Manu Maharani, Naini Retreat. The Heritage options suited for corporate comprise Balrampur House and Palace Belvedere.
