THE ITINERARY -
Exotic Egypt - Cairo and Nile Cruise - 7 nights / 8 days
Day 1: (Wed) Arrive Cairo - Arrive at Cairo international Airport, meet, assist by our representative then transfer.
To your hotel & check-in. Overnight at hotel.
Optional: Sound & Light show at the Pyramids
Day 2: (Thurs) Cairo - After breakfast, visit the pyramids of Giza and sphinx, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Continue to the papyrus institute and bazaars where you will have some time for shopping.
Lunch at an Egyptian Restaurant. Visit the Egyptian museum where you will have the chance to see the treasures of king Tut ankh Amun. Evening: transfer to the railway station for the sleeper train to Aswan
Dinner and overnight onboard
Day 3: (Fri) Aswan- Kom Ombo - Arrive at Aswan Station, meet, assist by our representative and then transfer onboard M/S RAI (5*) cruise ship. (3 nights Nile cruise).
Visit the high dam and Philae temple dedicated to the goddess Isis by Felucca
Optional: Abu Simbel excursion. 13:00 hrs: lunch on board. Sail to Komombo (Approx.7 P.M).
Dinner and overnight onboard
Day 4: (Sat) Kom Ombo- Edfu- Esna- Luxor. After breakfast, (approx 7AM) visit the temple of Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu, visit the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the falcon god
Horus. 13.00 hrs: Lunch on board. Sail to Esna, Pass the lock. Sail to Luxor arriving at night. Dinner and Overnight onboard
Day 5: (Sun) Luxor. After breakfast, cross to the West Bank. And Visit the Royal Tombs at the Valley of the Kings, Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.
13:00hrs: Lunch on board. Dinner and Overnight onboard.
Optional: Sound & Light at Karnak Temple. Farewell dinner with belly dancer.
Day 6: (Mon) Luxor- Cairo - Disembarkation after breakfast, then free at leisure.
Evening: transfer to the railway station for the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner and Overnight onboard
Day 7: (Tues) Cairo - Arrive at Giza station, meet & assist by our representative then transfer to hotel for check in, rest of the day free at leisure or
Optional 1: (Alexandria excursion) departure by coach through the desert road to Alexandria, (The city founded by -Alexander the Great in 332 B.C by the sea). Where you will have the chance to see the Pompey’s Pillar, the catacombs, the l5th century castle of Kaitbay, Kom El Shokafa, Montazah Gardens & Roman Theater.
Lunch at a local restaurant Return back to Cairo
Optional 2: (Old Cairo) Visit the Citadel of Saladin where you will have the chance to see Mohamed Aly Mosque (Alabaster Mosque).
Lunch at an Egyptian Restaurant. Then proceed to visit Khan El Khaleli Bazaars (largest in the Middle East & Africa) where you will have some time for shopping.
Overnight at hotel
Day 8: (Wed) Cairo- final departure. After breakfast, check out then transfer to Cairo International Airport.
