CG/01 - Chhattisgarh Itinerary with Kanha - ex-Jabalpur / Raipur 

Route : Jabalpur - Kanha(Mukki) (2) - Kawardha/Bhoramdeo (1)- Kanker (2)- Jagdalpur (2)- Raipur

Highlight : This is a regular tourist itinerary for visiting Kanha (Tiger Sanctuary), Heritage retreats of Kawardha with ancient temples of Bhoramdeo, Tribal craft and heritage centres of Bastar and Kanker which are also known for their waterfalls, greenery and wildlife.

Recommended Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the activities may vary and depend on prevailing weather condition and guest preferences)

• Day 1 : Arrive at Jabalpur and Proceed to Kanha (180 kms - upto 5 hours).

• Day 2: Morning and Evening Jeep Safaris.

• Day 3: After Morning Safari Leave for Kawardha (110 kms). Visit Bhoramdeo Temples in the evening.

• Day 4: Visit tribal settlement and proceed for Kanker (270 kms - 5-6 hours). 

• Day 5: Full day sightseeing. Depending on area of interest (Wildlife, craft, heritage, village experience etc.)

• Day 6: After breakfast leave for Jagdalpur. Visit local craft centre.

• Day 7 : Visit local Waterfalls and wildlife reserves around the area.

• Day 8: After morning visit to the local shops leave for Raipur by afternoon (300 kms - 6 hours)

• Day 9: Leave for Delhi / Mumbai / Kolkata / Bhubaneswar or any other destination

Seasonality : Oct-March is the best season to visit the area. 

Access : Jabalpur has flights from Delhi. Raipur has flights from Mumbai, Delhi. Jabalpur and Raipur are well connected with major cities in India..
