Daily Itinerary

Day One

12 noon

Inhale the freshness of tree-clad hills as you check-in.

1.30-2.30 p.m.

A sumptuous lunch is what you are looking for after moving up those winding roads.

4 p.m.

Tune in to the long awaited adventure with a refreshing cup of tea/ coffee.

4.30-6.30 p.m.

Our naturalists take you in an open jeep to the jungle. Along the ups and downs of the forest paths, encounter gaur families, herds of elephants, bears, or a leopard perched on a tree.

7 .30 pm

Learn about the laws of the jungle through others’ experiences. A wildlife film show at the Maharaja’s Hunting Lodge is just about that.

8.30-9.30 p.m.

Dine around the cozy campfire at the Gol Ghar

Day Two

6.15 a.m.

Wake up to the songs of hill mynas and greet the misty morning with a cup of tea.

6.30 -9.15am

Yet another ride to the depths of the jungle might bring you face to face with its ‘ruler’- the Tiger and the softly treading sloth bear. Visit the sacred grove, the 1000-year old ‘Doddasampige mara’, revered by the tribals. A taste of fresh honey collected by Soliga tribals, straight from the honeycomb, flavours your palate.
You can even see Mother Nature unfold as you ride on an elephant, through the dense jungle. For bird watchers, this is the right time. Gear up with your binoculars and explore the mysteries of the jungle. Trek up the heights to look down on the vale.

9.30 a.m.

The cool breeze engulfs you as you treat yourself to a hearty breakfast at the Gol Ghar.

Tariff includes food, taxes and outdoor activites.
