Jungle
safaris in jeeps and on elephant back are a must in this resort.
When out on safaris in the forest, one could spot a herd of
elephants or a langur, panthers, tigers, sambar deer, sloth
bears, bison, wild boar, barking deer, porcupine and more.
Bird watching is another
important activity at this resort. You might spot birds like
the large Indian parakeet, racket-tailed drongo, hill Myna,
crested serpent eagle, chestnut-bellied nuthatch among 225
species.
You could also go for long
walks and treks.
When you are at the B RHills
resort, you should spare time to take a look at the endless
coffee estates surrounding the area and also visit the B R
Temple.
One could also visit the Soliga
and the Jenukurba tribal hamlets.
A look at the thousand-year-old
Dodda Sampige mara, which translates in English language as
the 'Big Champak Tree' should be interesting.
If you have time to spare then
a visit to the temples, MM hills and the Stanley reservoir can
be fun.
