Bob's
Place is located in Nathuakhan at 1940 meters in the heart of Kumaon Mountains
at a distance of 14 kms from Mukteshwar, 30 kms from Bhowali
and 40 kms from Nainital (Uttaranchal
- INDIA).
The
small village of Nathuakhan lies in the heart of the fruit
basket of the Kumaon. In the midst of verdant valleys and
mountains clad in oak and rhododendron forests, Nathuakhan is
a serene mountain retreat, perfect at any time of the year.
Bob's
Place is situated in a fruit orchard and has three cottages
offering totally 5 double bedrooms and
a suite, each with its own sit-out and garden. The bedrooms
are inviting and comfortable, with attached modern
bath-rooms with running hot and cold water at all times.
There's a common lounge and dining area , and a deck that
faces the Himalayas. The many terraced gardens , with an
abundance of flowers, are safe for kids to run free in, and
perfect to just hang around in and unwind!
By
Road:
New Delhi to Nathuakhan: 340 kms via Moradabad, Rampur,
Rudrapur, Kathgodam, Bhowali, Ramgarh. A journey of
approximately 8 hours. Other distances from Nathuakhan:
Nainital - 40 km, Bhowali - 30 km, Mukteshwar - 14 km.
By Train:
Daily: Overnight Ranikhet Express departure Delhi 10:45 PM
and arrival Kathgodam 6:00AM. Take a taxi from Kathgodam to
Nathuakhan, a hill journey of 60 km.
Summer special (May to July): Shatabdhi Express departure
Delhi 6:20 AM and arrival Kathgodam 12:30 PM
