is a holiday itinerary to visit Bhutan and its most visited
destinations of Punakha Valley, Paro and Thimphu

DAY
01 : ARRIVE PARO
Arrive at the Airport in Paro, Bhutan. Welcome meet and assist by our
representative and transfer to the hotel in Paro. After a short rest, visit
to Drugyel Dzong , Ta Dzong, the National museum housed in an ancient
watchtower and the traditionally unique wooden bridge. Overnight stay at the
hotel in Paro.
DAY 02 : TAKTSANG (PARO) TOUR
After breakfast, visit to Satsam Chorten and then hike to viewpoint of
Taktshang, the Tiger’s Nest. This monastery clings to a vertical granite
cliff 3000ft above the valley floor. It is one of the most holy places and
all Bhutanese believe that they must visit it at least once in their
lifetime. Overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.
DAY 03 : DRIVE PARO – THIMPHU
After breakfast, free time for about 01 hours in Paro. Then drive through
the beautiful valleys of Paro into Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
Visit the Memorial Chorten built in memory of His Late Majesty, King Jigme
Dorji Wangchuck, the Jushina Paper factory and later visit the Handicraft
Emporium. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimpu.
DAY 04 : THIMPHU TOUR
Breakfast & leave for sight seeing in Thimphu includes visit to the
School of Thanka Painting, the National Library and the Institute of
Traditional Medicine where centuries old healing arts are still practiced.
Rest of the time enjoy strolling through Thimphu town. Overnight stay at the
hotel in Thimpu.
DAY 05 : DRIVE THIMPHU - PUNAKHA
Breakfast & drive through Dochula Pass where one gets one of the most
enchanting views in Bhutan. On a clear day, the one can get a good view of
the Himalayan ranges and also see the Gasa Dzong at a distance. Visit the
town. Overnight stay at the hotel in Wangdue / Punakha.
DAY 06 : DRIVE PUNAKHA – THIMPHU - PARO
Breakfast & drive to Paro via Thimphu. Visit to Sangay Gang where you
can get a spectacular view of the whole Thimphu valley. Then visit Zelukha
Nunnery. Lunch & continue drive to Paro. Upon arrival transfer to the
hotel and overnight stay in Paro.
DAY 07 : DEPARTURE FROM PARO
Breakfast & drive to Paro International Airport for flight for
your onward destination.
